Emily Booher is a recording cellist, composer/arranger, and producer with a passion for working in studios. She has a Bachelor of Arts in music with an emphasis in cello performance and composition from Southwestern University in the Austin area. She has recorded cello on countless projects over the years for artists such as:

Fiona Apple, Midland, bassist Tim Lefebvre, The Vaccines, and Ximena Sariñana, amongst others. 

She has worked many hours in studios such as Sonic Ranch (El Paso, TX), The Bubble (Austin, TX), Panoram and Topetitud Studios (Mexico City). On top of her recordings, she has arranged and composed scores for records and live sessions for artists from all over the world. While she writes for all types of orchestral instruments, she especially loves making large cello arrangements that mimic a full orchestra and specializes in recording by ear.
